Duramax Weighs In

Trying to spruce up an iconic truck, GMC unveiled a new look for the Silverado; however, the news has been more closely attuned to the new Chevy Colorado ZR2. Not to be left out in this new field of competition, the Colorado is Duramax’s half-ton entry into the now burgeoning field. And things are looking great for the Colorado .

On Feb. 12th, Chevrolet VP, Brian Sweeney stated:

We were low on supply of the new truck at startup for 2015, but now we’ve added a third shift at Wentzville (Mo.) and figure the truck will be sold out

 We intend to beat the industry average in 2015. It was tough last year with 25 million recalls. That was a distraction, but our dealers did a wonderful job and put their customers in a Cruze or Malibu while their recalled car was worked on, and that helped

Our heavy-duty diesel is our fastest-turning truck. Diesels are flying out of the showrooms. And this fall we add a diesel in the Colorado.
