Sole Education Grant. The deadline for applications is
Monday, January 13.
The Sole Education Grant (poster attached) is a $1,000 grant specifically designed for those individuals wanting to enter the trades or those already involved in pursuing their education in a skilled trade.

For this program, skilled trades students will apply, and three will be chosen to write one 150 word response (minimum) per week for 10 weeks on a topic that relates to the trades, why they want to or are pursuing a career in the trades or any other relevant topic pertaining to a life/career in skilled trade. At the end of that time period, if all responses have been submitted, the student will receive a $1,000 grant towards the school of their choosing from Saf-Gard Safety Shoes (www.safgard.com) to use towards pursuing their education.
