Do it right the first time. My truck was bought as a project for my son, daughter, and myself to build a general workhorse for the family and to head out on North Carolina's Outer Banks beaches. Modifications include a TRE Transmission with billet input and DPC triple disk, a 63/68/14 turbo, 7x11 DAP injectors, a FASS Titanium, Edge Comp Drag, Yukon free spin kit with CAD delete, ARP head studs. We also did a Dana 80 swap with Detroit TrueTrac, and we added DynaTrac ball joints, a Swamp's Diesel sump, Devil's Own water/meth, Electric Blue metallic paint, and a new hood and fenders. All modifications were accomplished at the house with the exception of the transmission and paint. Future modifications will hopefully include a compound with S475, rear disc brake conversion, and front and back aftermarket bumpers.
Like I said, I use the truck for OBX beach excursions and truck pulls. Hopefully some drag racing at Diesel Truck Wars, too!
