My gray crew cap short box truck has a 2-inch lift, 35-inch tires, a back rack with a tool box and a front bumper with 2008 tow mirrors. Modifications include stage 2 injectors, Garrett Powermax turbo pedal fooler, SCT and H&S Mini Maxx and coolant filter, Sinister Diesel cold air intake with hot and cold pipes, and an aFe air filter. As for accessories, it has LED headlights, taillights, cap lights and third brake light. It also has ARP head studs and a Black Stacks 4-inch straight pipe. Later I want to add an intercooler, trans cooler, and a new transmission, as well as a water methanol kit and dual shocks.
I use this truck as a daily driver and for dyno and track races. I used to haul a hay trailer and take it in the woods, but now I haul wood. It’s an off-road, all-around work and play truck. I got the diesel truck as a learning tool to someday be a diesel technician. I started working on the stock truck and found a love for the power of diesels. Now I hope to hit 1000 hp with the truck someday!
