Upgrade 4: Wheels & Tires

Working in concert with the suspension are the KMC wheels and Cooper tires. Austin decided to go with 275/65/R18 tires and 18-inch wheels. It’s a good thing he got the lift, because these suckers wouldn’t fit under the truck otherwise! The new wheels look great and really complement the color scheme of the truck. Likewise, mounting the wheels with the white sidewall out provides a nice secondary splash of black and white.

“I was worried at first that this tire would be very loud going down the road, but it is hardly noticeable and it’s very easy to have a normal conversation while driving,” Austin says. “They have a very aggressive tread pattern that feels great on-road and even better off-road. Matching them with 18-inch wheels allows enough sidewall to be able to be the best off-road tire and still look amazing.”
