Factor 55 Precision Engineering is releasing new products including the Splicer, a unique splice on synthetic rope shackle mounting thimble with rope protection and integrated rubber pad. The machined rope passage has a tough outer barrier to guard against rope impact and abrasion; it’s also UV-protected for greater durability. The Splicer is compatible with synthetic ropes up to a half-inch in diameter. Unlike the Factor 55 ProLink and Flatlink shackle mount products, however, the Splicer does require synthetic rope splicing knowledge.
