When you think of the Australian outback, you probably picture vivid red desert, nightmare-inspiring creepy crawlies, and Paul Hogan’s rough-and-tumble “That’s not a knife, THAT’S a knife,” persona from the movie Crocodile Dundee. But for longtime Diesel Tech reader and subscriber Jason Francis, it’s home to his shop, Sootin' Up Diesel. This 26-year-old makes his living way out in the wilderness of northern Australia, servicing the civil and mining industries.
