It’s hard to believe the 2015 F350 Power Stroke is not only the first vehicle Jim Allen has ever bought new off the showroom floor, but it’s also the first pickup truck he’s ever owned. Considering it’s gone from being completely stock to a one-of-a-kind SEMA-worthy masterpiece, most would agree he’s off to a great start. Allen has always enjoyed cars, but decided to purchase his first truck after his father passed away.
“My dad always had trucks and I never understood why but when he passed I decided I wanted a diesel truck so this is kind of my homage to him,” says Allen. “That and baby number three was on the way and I had a couple of cars that won’t seat five but with a big truck you can have all three kids in the back seat just fine.”
