With the plans laid out, and a garage onboard, we next reached out to Sinister Diesel in Roseville, Calif., for quality engine parts. With years of diesel and mechanical experience and knowledge, a desire for the best performance diesel parts, and online retail and customer experience, Sinister Diesel developed its own line of custom parts.

“We had our own vision about how a part should perform,” states Brian George, president of Sinister Diesel, “and what it should look like, so the Sinister Diesel brand was born.”

Since Sinister Diesel first unveiled its brand name parts, their reputation for dependable performance has grown. Today, Sinister produces and manufactures some of the best aftermarket diesel parts in the industry, and they continue to add more components to their product line.

When presented with the concept of Project LBZ—the preserved ’07 with an intense build planned, Sinister Diesel knew they wanted to be part of the experience.

“The opportunity to work on such a pristine truck and to make it competition-worthy was an opportunity too good to pass up,” says Brian. “We’re looking forward to seeing what Sinister Diesel parts can make this classic truck do.”
