Derek Kinzel, affectionately known as Big D to his friends, was an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force from 2003 to 2006. While enlisted, Derek worked on large Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport aircrafts and served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During Derek’s enlistment in the armed services he supported and was part of a number of sorties.
