Hooking Up With ATS

ATS Diesel invited him to tour their shop in Arvada, Colo. and asked him to test its Aurora 5000 71/83 1.0 AR Turbocharger in exchange for some feedback on how the kit runs on the 6.7L Cummins. While he was at the shop test fitting everything, they installed his ARP 625 head studs for him that he had been procrastinating on installing himself.

"ATS used my truck to template and modify their Aurora 5000 kit for the newer model trucks," says Hayward. "The turbo spools a little slower than my SB66 on the bottom end at low RPMs, but at higher RPMs it has a lot more power and boost. The turbo really pulls hard and feels great so far."

Rollin Smoke Diesel sent him a set of Industrial Injection R1 30LPM 100HP nozzles to help light up the large single better and Transfer Flow had just developed their new 2012 Mega Cab 58 gallon Midship Stock Replacement Fuel Tanks and sent him one to test fit and run around with and test out.
