Boost Fooler

Next up was the Boost Fooler from BD Power and this just prevents the high boost code from showing up on the display when your fuel is over 22-23 psi. The install is simple.

Of all the upgrades from BD Power, the crankcase ventilation kit was the one we were really the most interested in. There are plenty of do-it-yourself type owners that rig something up on their own, but it never looks clean and it's never as efficient.

The crankcase ventilation kit is designed to aid in reducing the amount of oil found in the charge air cooler, as well as reducing the chance of having a boot blow off. The system will help to increase boot life and charge air cooler effectiveness. Better filtration of the crankcase gas reduces the amount of oil that will be returned to the intake system, which in turn will reduce emissions.
