Triple Turbo DuramaxCustom Auto in Idaho Falls, ID, has been working on a triple-turbo Duramax LB7, and now has the kit functioning and rolling the dyno wheel.

The truck uses two small chargers and one big charger to feed air into the Duramax engine. Custom Auto claims that drive pressures are significantly lower than a compound dual turbo setup, and the engine operates with lower exhaust gas temperatures as well.

The horsepower curve is broad, and testing on Custom Auto's own dyno has shown numbers in the 1,150 rwhp range with EFILive custom tuning.
