Volant Diesel Cold Air Intakes Receive CARB Approval

July 2011 News

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has granted approval to Volant's line of Cold Air Intakes the company manufactures for all diesel powered pickup trucks up to 2010. The CARB Executive Order #D-526-3 ensures that Volant's diesel intakes meet strict emissions guidelines for the state of California, as well as provide exceptional performance to improve horsepower, torque and fuel economy.

Volant's diesel air intake systems are designed to seal out engine heat and deliver cool ambient air to the engine. Many of Volant's diesel Cool Air Intake systems also have an optional CAS cool air scoop, to further improve performance by forcing cold air into the sealed filter box. All of Volant's diesel air intakes also have the option of the company's Pro-5 cotton-gauze filter, that delivers five-layers of protection while allowing maximum airflow, or the Donaldson PowerCore air filter that features vastly improved filtration, up to 99.99 percent, lasts up to 100,000 miles, and never needs cleaning or oiling.  For more information on Volant's complete line of air intake systems and superior filtration call 909-481-3888 or visit www.volant.com.
