DieselUSA Launches New Mass Flo Engineering Line

Upgrades available for Ford, Dodge and GM Diesel Applications

December 2010 News

DieselUSA Group, through its Louisville, Diesel Injection Service Company corporate center, has launched Mass Flow Engineering (MFE), as the "Premiere" product line of its type for the high-performance consumer diesel community.  Mass Flo Engineering now offers performance upgrade injection systems ranging from 40 to 150 horsepower increase.  States Jay Miller, Director of Sales and Marketing of DieselUSA Group,  "We are a unique major industry Resource Center for major commercial diesel engine users, large commercial diesel engine remanufacturers, OEM engine manufacturers and even individual consumer diesel owners. For over 60 years our group of companies have been involved in the service, distribution, manufacturing, remanufacturing, testing, development & consultation of diesel fuel systems and turbomachinery"

Miller says, "DieselUSA Group, is the largest, most experienced, and diverse Diesel Fuel Injection & Turbocharger `Resource Center' in North America. The company has recently brought together it's collection of varied talents and experiences to form the Mass Flo Engineering product line.  While the MFE name may be new, the experience and capabilities are as great, or greater, than any other source alternative. "The company believes that true enthusiasts will quickly embrace the product line because they understand that true performance isn't just about the quantity of air and/or fuel mass-flow through an engine, it's also about the balance of proportion and the quality manner in which it is delivered.

There are so many companies now selling fuel injectors, turbochargers and other devices that claim to increase the mass flow of air and fuel through an engine for the purpose of increasing power, which many only focus upon flow rating alone and engine performance problems can soon follow. With six locations, mainly in the Midwest, the DieselUSA Group reports that their service centers have had repeated requests from high-performance enthusiasts and diesel race teams to help correct fuel injection problems caused by "would-be" high performance fuel injection components where nozzle tip spray holes have been enlarged and new tips installed

There are so many companies now selling fuel injectors, turbochargers and other devices that claim to increase the mass flow of air and fuel through an engine for the purpose of increasing power, which many only focus upon flow rating alone and engine performance problems can soon follow. With six locations, mainly in the Midwest, the DieselUSA Group reports that their service centers have had repeated requests from high-performance enthusiasts and diesel race teams to help correct fuel injection problems caused by "would-be" high performance fuel injection components where nozzle tip spray holes have been enlarged and new tips installed onto old injectors. In such an instance no one really knows what that injector really flows unless it is tested. All MFE electronic injectors are totally calibrated and come with their own pedigree, or calibration spec sheet, that not only verifies total volumetric flow, but also verifies total flow variation between injectors.  This means each MFE set is essentially a "matched set of injectors" that insure cylinder-to-cylinder balanced fuel flow. This process is very labor intensive, much like cylinder head port matching, to insure air flow variation between cylinders.

Competitors and racers understand the need for balanced air and fuel flow to maximize power, reliability and performance.  Rather than buying and installing parts that may or may not work, they prefer to source precision made parts the first time. Thus, MFE was born for the serious performance enthusiasts and racers. True competitors understand these differences.
