ATS' High Powered Weekend Changes It Up

Format Change To ATS' 2010 Diesels On The Mountain Weekend

June 2010 News

ATS Diesel has changed the format and schedule of this year's Diesels On The Mountain event. This year's sled pull event has been moved to Friday, Aug. 6 and will be held in the evening, at Adams County Fairgrounds in Brighton, CO. The venue change allows for simplified entry into the event for spectators and competitors as well as improved stadium seating for everyone watching the action, according to ATS. Friday's sled pull competitor check-in will be at 3 p.m.

The Diesels On The Mountain ATS open house and Armed Services Appreciation barbecue will be held Saturday, Aug. 7, instead of Friday to accommodate the new schedule. ATS will have two on-site dynamometers for truck owners to compete for cash and prizes. Saturday events include food, music, and an open house at the ATS manufacturing plant, starting at 8 a.m. Members of the Armed services who show up in uniform on Saturday with military identification are invited to eat for free.

Sunday's schedule will remain the same as racers, truck show attendees and vendors attend the final day of the weekend's events at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison Colorado. Cummins Rocky Mountain sponsors the event. Gate time for Sunday remains 8 a.m. for general entry and 9 a.m. for first runs down the drag strip.
