The size and design of this system works perfectly for stock fuel demand. By adding performance enhancements like chips and modules, the fuel system is no longer capable of flowing enough fuel. Trusted Performance realized this problem and has created a relatively inexpensive fix. Their Stage I fuel system is designed to replace the fuel lines from the fuel bowl to the cylinder head with larger ones. In fact, these replacement lines are about 300 percent bigger and are capable of flowing a lot more fuel than the factory system.
The Stage I system is meant for the truck owner who wants to be able to play and not worry about replacing expensive injectors because they ran out of fuel. This system is designed for trucks with stock horsepower up to 120 hp increases. Trusted Performance also offers a Stage II system that has return lines from the back of the cylinder heads and regulates the fuel on the return. This means that the injectors see 100 percent of the fuel flow.
