Fifth Wheel Hitches
Similar in design and operation as the hitches used on semi-trucks, a Husky Towing Fifth Wheel Hitch rests on the floor of the truck bed and bolts securely to the vehicle’s frame. This design removes torque twist from both the truck and trailer for less stress on equipment, delivers a smoother, quieter ride, and provides more control over tall trailers that are susceptible to crosswinds. A patented anti-walk wrap-around jaw fully encloses the trailer’s kingpin so it cannot come loose and has a visible safety indicator built-in to alert you if the jaw is in the open position. Other features include:
• Foam-gripped pin box handle is ergonomically located for easier operation
• Pin box handle self-locks and releases so you don’t need to manually open it when hitching-up
