The OEM steering shafts are subject to wear and just weren’t built to handle today’s modern tire & wheel combinations. The Borgeson Extreme Duty replacement steering shaft uses two billet steel universal joints and a heavy-duty telescopic shaft assembly to bridge the connection between the steering column and steering box.
