Mevotech TTX Ball Joints Are Tough Enough For Work Trucks

December 2020 Products DT Staff

Hauling heavy loads, towing heavy trailers and everyday use in general puts stress on a truck's suspension. When the time comes to replace your ball joints, go with the TTX joints from Mevotech, now available at Summit Racing! They are plenty tough enough for your truck. They feature Mevotech’s REPEL-TEK corrosion-resistant coating and application-specific hardware for a straightforward installation. They're designed to be installed with the boot in place, saving you both time and energy. Mevotech even includes pre-threaded grease fittings and castle nuts with a snap-in locking clip.

These joints have a knurled housing with precision-engineered ridges for a tighter grip between connecting components. The boot is mechanically locked to the housing to keep out contaminants. Large, thick flanges on the housing add strength and stiffness to reduce the likelihood of deformation when installing these joints. It also has a snap-in sintered metal bearing with a large contact area to accommodate steering knuckle wear. The upper bearing provides additional contact area and better pressure distribution for less wear. For more information, call 800-230-3030 or click here.
