Logan Fry's Truck Next Door

August 2020 Feature My Truck DT Staff

This article originally appeared in the October 2019 issue.

This high-end 6.0L Power Stroke-powered dark blue beast is not originally a north central Pennsylvania truck. It came all the way up from Texas. A Lariat model, Logan’s truck is not a daily driver; it’s more of a workhorse and show horse at the same time, as he uses the truck for farm work, competitions, and rides just for the purpose of performance-induced pleasure.

“It mostly sits in my driveway, ha ha,” he laughs. “It only gets driven when hay needs hauled on the farm, when there’s a truck pull, or when I just want to go on a fun joy ride.”

The mods on the truck definitely speak the performance and “show horse” image. First up are a 2003 10-blade turbo swap and a 5-inch exhaust, but also on the truck are intercooler pipes, a cold air intake, a blue sprint upgrade, and coolant filter, all from Sinister Diesel. The Sinister blue certainly blends in well with the color of this rig. The engine also has ARP head studs and O-ringed cylinder heads with the custom tuning from Quick Tricks. The truck sits on a 2-inch Rough Country leveling kit and 20 by 10 Voxx GFX wheels with Crosswind Mud Terrain 35-inch tires.
