PPE has taken inspiration from the U.S. Military ordnance and created a new look for the well-known performance of the PPE Premium High-Efficiency Oil Filters for the 2001-2019 6.6L Duramax diesels. It’s all the same efficient, high-performing materials, but this time in Special Issue form. The filters come in a new dynamic package that adds onto the military theme. The filters are direct replacements for the OEM ones and don’t require an adapter. They have highly efficient 5-micron filtration, bypass at 10 psi over stock, 900 square inches of accordion-folded nylon and fiberglass media, and a 13/16-16 UNF threaded baseplate with 120 percent larger passages. The filters have twice the surface area, filtration and filter life of the OEM ones and are compatible with both conventional and synthetic oil.
