Vermont Introduces Single-Plate Legislation

February 2020 Products DT Staff

Legislation has been introduced in Vermont that would require the use of only a single rear-mounted license plate on vehicles with a registered weight of 10,000 pounds or under. Under current state law, those vehicles must display two plates (one in the front and one in the rear). If the bill passes, it would become effective on July 1, 2020.
