This cushion hitch ball joins the ShockDrop™ series and morphs the benefits of a cushion hitch into a standard trailer ball, providing increased control, comfort, and confidence. It retrofits onto virtually any existing class 3 ball mount.
This is the first ball ever to feature cushion hitch technology. The ball uses a polyurethane isolator that absorbs jerking, jarring, vibrations and noise at the coupling point; this provides a much more comfortable towing experience compared to your standard metal-on-metal connections. It's engineered to fit into existing ball mounts, and it can be bolted onto virtually any class 3 ball mount with a 2-1/2-inch wide tongue and a 1-inch diameter hole. This eliminates the need to purchase an entirely new towing system or a complex torsion hitch system to enjoy the benefits of a cushion hitch.
