Matt Holstein calls his truck Clifford. Its color is Inferno Red Crystal Pearl and he purchased it back in 2007 used from a local dealer.

Since then he has done a bunch of work to keep it running … but it mostly just keeps draining his bank account. Modifications include Forced Inductions S476/87/1.0 ETR with Race Cover, Exergy 250 percent over injectors, Exergy 10mm pump, H&S Dual CP3 with a stock pump on top, Flex-A-Lite Fans, ARP Head Studs, Hamilton 103# Valve Springs & Extreme Duty Push Rods, GDP Intake Plenum with AFE Bladerunner Intake Manifold, Stainless Diesel T4 Manifold, 5-inch Jamo Exhaust 409 Stainless with a 4-inch 409 Stainless DownPipe, AirDog-II 165 with XDP Sump and Stainless Steel transmission coolers mounted in the bed utilizing two Derale 15900 fans.

For tires, Holstein runs 305/45/22 Nitto 420s with 22x12 American Force wheels. For his Burnouts Suspension he has Reverse Lowered, Bilstein 5100s, Fleece Shock Tower Deletes, GDP Ladder Bars, Carli Track Bar & Stabilizer, 09+ Steering, Mag Hytec Front & Rear, Drilled & Slotted Rotors on all 4 Corners and Hellmann Driveline Hoops. His truck has been painted to match bumpers, handles, taillights, headlights, fog light bezels, 3rd Brake and grille. He has also installed a JMB Viper Badge and Shaved Tailgate. Inside he has installed SRT10 seats and a center console.

He said he will continue to pour more money into it as he finds more things he wants to change. “It’s always something,” he explained.

He said he uses his truck “mostly to keep my jack stands in my garage anchored to the floor as well as draining my wallet.” Clifford is his weekend toy that “provides me with smiles, and the local law enforcement with new equipment.”
