ATS is proud to announce the 68RFE Upgrade Kit: 5 Star Torque Converter, Co-Pilot, Valve Body, Case Brace and Deep Pan for the 2007 and newer Dodge Ram 2500/3500 6.7L. This kit is designed for the truck owner who is looking to hold moderate horsepower levels and increase longevity without tearing into the trans for a full package level trans build.
ATS addresses the weakness of the case with its Case Brace and Deep Pan. The deep pan also adds to the overall volume of trans fluid and therefore keeps temperatures down which promotes longevity. For controlling the torque converter, ATS adds in its Co-Pilot kit to hold the 500-550 hp level without any issues, given the 68RFE is in good operating order prior to the installation of the system.
ATS goes through great lengths to remanufacture and flatten the valve body and avoid the gasket “band-aid” approach. This helps eliminate cross leakage and extends the life of the unit. ATS also bores out each accumulator to create a perfect surface for its billet accumulator pistons.
When the ATS valve body and co-pilot are paired together the trans can achieve a line pressure increase from 160psi up to 270psi.
