Final Thoughts
Once the truck was all put back together, Juan spent the better part of a day driving the truck in loops around the Phoenix/Mesa area to ensure there were no issues with any of the components. After several hundred miles of driving and testing, Bullet Proof deemed it worthy of their name and handed us the keys for the drive back to Idaho.
We’ve had it back for a little while now, so what does Brad think about Bullet Proof’s handiwork? “I used to get in that truck and think, ‘When is this thing going to blow? Is it going to get me where I’m going?’ Now my confidence level is where I can get in it and drive it wherever. Those issues, worries, and concerns are gone. Going through a blow-up with the exact same motor and then buying another one and having it ‘Bullet-Proofed,’ I just don’t worry about the motor.”
When you build a house, you want it to be on a solid foundation. The same is true of a good truck build. With everything Bullet Proof Diesel has done for us, I’d say we have the best possible foundation for this truck’s future.
