If you’re one of the lucky ones to get your hands on a new Titan XD, odds are you’re looking for accessories. Well, A.R.E. has you covered (oh, jeez, sorry for the pun). Two of their most popular fiberglass bed covers, the Z series truck cap and LSII tonneau cover, will be available for the XD starting this spring. As the only currently available options, A.R.E. also plans to offer additional fiberglass caps and tonneaus.
The Z series cap is designed to give the truck a sleeker look, more akin to an SUV. It features a frameless compound curve rear door with OEM-quality palm handle and vent screen side windows, as well as a slam latch system that closes and locks the cap in one motion. Optional features include tilt-down or sliding front windows, a Yakima roof rack and remote keyless entry.
The LSII tonneau cover comes with a lift assist system with gas struts to aid in opening and closing, a gray carpet-like foss lining, and a painted-to-match palm handle with automotive-grade locks. Options include LED rope lighting, sport wing with brake light (or without), a 12V power strip, interior clothes rod, and remote keyless entry.
