Snap-on Introduces 18V 1/2-Inch Compact Drill

January 2016 Products Trevor Mason Web Exclusive

If you’re anything like me, you like to have your tools available to you at a moment’s notice, and that means they need to ride in your truck. Sometimes, though, you have to sacrifice power for portability. Not with Snap-on’s 18V MonsterLithium Compact Drill.

They’ve introduced a compact version of their popular CDR8850H, the CDR8815. The 1/2-inch cordless drill packs a lot of power, at 500 inch-pounds of torque. “The CDR8815 may be small in size, but it offers powerful results,” says Rodger Isetts, product manager for Snap-on. “Technicians want easy-to-use, compact tools without sacrificing productivity or durability. Along with its smaller size, this reliable drill provides techs 33 percent long runtime to get multiple jobs done around the shop.”

The CDR8815 has a variable-speed trigger and 22-position clutch, as well as a two-speed gearbox to select the proper torque, and a one-watt LED to light your work area. The complete kit comes with a charger, handle, two batteries, and carrying case. For more information, call 877-SNAPON-4 (877-762-7664) or visit www.snapon.com.
