GearWrench

Anyone who's ever worked on his own truck has run into a situation in which he can't fit a ratchet wrench onto a bolt. We found a great solution at SEMA this year. GearWrench's new gimbal ratchet solves the problem. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand so it can squeeze into places too tight for a regular wrench. The gimbal action means it can swivel in all directions to make sure the socket lines up. It comes in 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch drives.

The GearWrench Gimbal Ratchet allows the ratchet head to rotate on two planes, providing easier access for the end user. The 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism provides a five-degree swing arc and allows technicians to spin fasteners on and off in hard-to-reach areas. The anodized aluminum finish offers protection and makes the ratchet easy to clean. MSRP: $20 (866-907-9716/www.gearwrench.com)
