"I drove directly from the dealer's lot to Discount Tire and got my tire sensors swapped out on the stock wheels and into five new black MHT Fuel Hostage 22 x 9.5 with -18 offset, 4.5-inch backspace wheels and then wrapped them with TOYO Open Country M/T 37X13.50R22 tires," recalls the 29 year old. "I threw the new wheels and tires in the bed and went straight home to start tearing into the engine compartment."Well before Hayward ever took delivery of his brand-new truck, he had already started gathering parts that were filling up his garage and his living room. So when he did get his hands on the wheel, he wasted no time getting started.

Hayward enlisted the help of his Army buddy Ezra to install the H&S Mini Maxx and H&S Overhead Mount along with a custom Beta tune for the 2012s from Casey Shirts who is the co-owner of H&S performance. After they had a chance to test the tune and tuner, it was time for the deletes. The two installed the H&S EGR Cooler Delete, MaxxFlow Intake Manifold, which was later removed and the 4-inch Boost Tube, which was also later removed.
