Fourth Generation Dodge Diesels: 2010-Present

Because these models showcase a refined 6.7L inline 6, there are similar gripes found in these models that can be found in third generation models. Lind has noticed that the steering has greatly improved in these models, and any improvement in system design is a plus, but expect to find issues in the fourth gen model common to its predecessors. Dodge has made a lot of progress in the design and functionality of their diesel pickups, but there is no platform on the market that is beyond facing its share of discrepancies. The best practice for any buyer is to thoroughly inspect the truck of their choice and get a second opinion on the findings. Being a well-informed Dodge owner will ultimately save you from the confusion and frustration when these common problems arise, and will undoubtedly save you a lot of time and money fixing these issues when they happen.
