Matthew Blymire's Truck Next Door

York, Pa.

June 2014 Feature My Truck

Since I bought my 2007 6.7L Cummins, I've done everything I can think to it to get more out of it. I didn't really care much for the factory look so some exterior work was one of the first things I did. I added a Line-X bed liner, removed all of the factory badges, installed front window and windshield bar tint and added several different chrome accents including chrome window seals, door and tailgate handles, bull bar, a Ram grille logo and had my 4-inch to 6-inch exhaust tip chromed.

I also went through and changed my lighting by installing 8000K HID fog lights, Chrome projector Halo LED headlights, chrome trimmed Recon LED clearance lights, Recon big rig amber side cabs, as well as Recon LED Clearance, brake and cargo lights. After I got the Ram looking good, I went after some performance. I put in a 4-inch Turbo back exhaust, an aFe cold air intake with pre-filter, a Wild Card Customs boost tube and a Wild Card Customs intake manifold. I later installed an H&S performance Mini Maxx with overdrive transmission tuning and went back to a little exterior work. I put on a set of Fuel Offroad 20x9 with +01mm offset Chrome Hostage Wheels with Nitto Trail Grapplers and covered them with Bushwacker Pocket Flares. With the addition of a Reese fifth wheel hitch and an Extang Full Tilt tonneau cover, I was ready to take a break and let my Dodge speak for itself.
