Power of Pink: A Full-Time Passion (Slideshow)

Kat Ray loves her diesel

February 2014 Feature Katie Burke

Power of Pink is a new column to celebrate the fact that women in this industry know their stuff.  We kick off our regular column with Kathleen Ray (or Kat to those who know her best). Ray is extremely well-known throughout the diesel industry as a lady who loves her truck and brings other women into the fold. She is a sales representative at Siskiyou Diesel Performance, but her full-time passion is being at the tip of the spear, leading the way at Ladies Of Diesel.

If you are a "lady of diesel," or you're just looking for a great place to talk diesel, swap stories, or check out some rides, you can visit the LOD at www.facebook.com/LadiesOfDiesel or visit her website and get the latest and greatest on builds and what's going on in the diesel world. What's even greater is that Diesel Tech has become the official magazine of Ladies Of Diesel.

We're proud to bring women into the Diesel Tech family and give readers more great information on everything diesel. Ray has worked hard to spotlight women in the diesel world and we knew we had to show our readership what LOD was all about. The column is designed to showcase the fun side of diesel that women enjoy. While you're reading through, be sure to send me (Katie@dieseltechmag.com) your questions, ideas, thoughts or comments, to possibly see them highlighted in an upcoming issue.

"Power of Pink" is a recurring column in Diesel Tech magazine that focuses on women and the powerful diesel trucks they own.
