Face Lift: Making Blue Our Own

Big Blue Part 5

Looking Ahead

Around the corner we've got big plans for Blue that include the T500 high pressure oil pump from Terminator Engineering, turbo upgrade and bigger injectors from Full Force Diesel. But before we get started with this next step we wanted to get our Super Duty on the dyno to see just how far we've come with these upgrades as well as set the mark so we can measure our progress moving forward.

In Your Grille

Before we put her on the dyno, we thought it would be good to take care of some cosmetic upgrades and there's not a better place to start than with the grille. With a lot of great options out there, we took our time in selecting what we felt would be the right fit for our project truck. We went with Royalty Core Truck Performance because it offers custom grilles with top-notch quality and designs. I was beyond giddy when it arrived. I just had to take a quick peek so I dropped to my knees and tore open the box like a kid on Christmas morning. I wasn't able to get it installed right away, so I spent the next few weeks just imagining what it was going to look like actually on the truck.

I called up Powerlabs Diesel and General Manager Nick Snarr once again got me on the schedule books. Snarr works for Brent Willsey and they're always good about working me in despite a busy schedule.
