Ready For A New Season

United Truck & Tractor Puller Releases Classes

Published in the August 2011 Issue August 2011 Column

Each year the United Truck and Tractor Pullers Association produces 12 to 14 events, while providing entertainment for audiences all across Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, and Wyoming. The non-profit organization is based in the Rocky Mountains and is composed of over 150 members from as far south as southern California, to western Oregon, central Montana, and everywhere in between. Its new state-of-the-art weight transfer sleds are some of the best in the country.

The 2011 classes range from stock light trucks to pro stock diesel tractors. The gas and diesel classes are made to accommodate local pullers who want to try their hand at truck pulling, while most modified trucks and tractors run between 800 and 2500 horsepower with some tractors in excess of 6000!

Tractor pulling has been delivering its own unique form of entertainment for almost 70 years and the United Truck and Tractor Pullers knows how to provide a fair, yet competitive environment for its drivers, all while striving to deliver exciting racing entertainment for its fans.
