Advanced Flow Engineering has released its new Stage 2 air intake system for the 2011 Duramax LML. The system features a durable, one-piece 18-gauge powder coated heat shield, an intake housing with two built-in auxiliary air scoops and two rows of louvers, performance engineered rotomold plastic intake tubes to maximize air velocity and improve horsepower, torque, and throttle response. Two different filter options are available, a Pro-5R five-layer filter and a Pro Guard 7 filter with seven layers of protection. In recent testing, part number 54-11922 outflows the factory intake by 33 percent.
