Project TowMax: Part 1

Published in the October 2017 Issue August 2018 Feature Trevor Mason

Passion is the first thing you need when you’re starting a truck build. Well, that and a truck. But it’s the desire to get out and build something cool and useful that drives all of us. It’s been a little bit since our last project truck, and we’ve had a hankering to do something really cool. Luckily for us, an opportunity dropped right into our lap, almost like the proverbial manna from heaven.

We were contacted by Travis Stebbins, owner and proprietor of Redline Motorsports in Norridgewock, Maine, and he told us about an idea he’d been kicking around for a while: he wanted to make the ultimate towing rig, something that would tick all the boxes and look good doing it. The base vehicle would be a 2015 RAM 2500 Laramie Mega Cab and the list of things Travis wanted to add to it was extensive. We knew we’d found our guy.
