The 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel utilizes a HEUI injection system, with injectors that can be damaged by low fuel pressure. Factory fuel lines are small, the fittings restrictive and the fuel pressure is managed by a tiny spring and poppet that is improperly located at the beginning of the system. The Driven Diesel Regulated Return fuel system kit upgrades the fuel lines, removes restrictive fittings and relocates the pressure regulator to a point in the system that accounts for all of the pressure drop and demand.
The system consists of CNC bent Stainless Steel tubing and Stainless Steel Braided Teflon hoses, a custom billet aluminum adapter and a top quality Fuelab pressure regulator. Every truck, from 100 percent stock to full race, will experience improved throttle response and reduced engine noise from the increased fuel flow and proper fuel management provided by this system.
