Getting Started
Taking the next step is a serious one for a lot of reasons. For some, the upgrades that have been done so far would be enough or at least enough for a while. But our vision for this 7.3L has us taking Big Blue to the next level and you can't get where we want to go with a stock transmission. Another reason why this is such a big commitment is because if you think you're addicted now, just wait. This one major upgrade of having a new transmission built will continue to lead to other upgrades, which in my opinion is where the real fun begins.
We needed a serious transmission for a serious truck, but we didn't trust our project build to just any mechanic. As we asked around to the locals as well as others hundreds of miles away across several state lines, the same name kept coming up. The guy we were looking for was Cam Hulse, owner of Adrenaline Performance in Shelley, Idaho.
