PPE's new Y-Pipe

Published in the April 2012 Issue April 2012 Build

For those who want the best of both worlds of having the power and reliability increases that Pacific Performance Engineering's Race High Flow Exhaust Manifolds and Up-Pipes produce, yet retain the stock EGR system, PPE has an industry first: its optional Y-Pipe.

Made from 11-gauge .120-inch wall stainless steel and featuring an aircraft-grade bellows, these Y-pipes are designed to the same exacting standards as its regular Up-Pipe, but with an ad-ditional section that completes the connection to the EGR cooler.

Designed for the 2001-12 GM Duramax 6.6L engines, the Y-Pipe give you quicker engine warm-up and it enables the cab heater to function properly.
