May 2016 Cummins, Duramax, News, PowerStroke, Feature Trevor Mason Web Exclusive

Well, day 1 of the Ultimate Callout Challenge has come and gone, and with it, a new world record. The first day of the event, held at the Deseret Peak Complex in Tooele, Utah, focused exclusively on the dyno portion of the competition. It was a long day with the sun beating down on us, but it was a great time. The winner of the day, Shawn Baca, put down an absolutely insane 2474.6 horsepower and 3240.5 ft/lbs of torque, easily setting a new record. The rest of the top five:

  • Lavon Miller - 2211hp, 3309.1 ft/lbs of torque
  • Aaron Rodolf - 1987.8hp, 3005.9 ft/lbs of torque
  • Ryan Milliken - 2079.1hp, 2810.2 ft/lbs of torque
  • Derek Rose - 2044.9hp, 2788 ft/lbs of torque

If you missed any of the action (or the carnage), head on over to our Facebook page and check out the archived live streams. And stay tuned for this afternoon! Day 2's drag races are sure to be just as exciting!
