The guys over at TFL Truck have done some MPG tests to see if the new GMC Canyon diesel is as fuel efficient as GMC has been claiming. As it turns out, it does pretty good! Better than pretty good, actually: according to their data, the GMC Canyon broke their record with an astounding 31.3 MPG on the 98-mile highway loop that they use for testing.
