The standard mount for most tuners includes a basic suction cup mount that attaches to your window. However, BK Adapters allows you to position your tuner in the upper left corner of your windshield, keeping your dash clear.
The install for the BK Adapter is a quick 10 minute job that any one can do. First, remove the side panel to access the wiring. Make sure you pull enough wire to go the length of your windshield and to the location of your mount. Also for an easier install, make sure you zip tie the wires for a cleaner fit.
Each BK Adapter is machined for each tuner so that the connection will fit nice and tight. This also allows you an easy way to disconnect so you can update your tuner when needed.
Finally the BK Adapter slides smoothly into the lining of your roof.
I was a little worried about how secure the mount would be, so after the install I hit the dirt road in an attempt to shake it loose. It never moved an inch and I really enjoy the new location of my tuner.
